| GIA physicians
are on staff at Halifax Medical Center and Florida Hospital -
Ormond. Inpatient and outpatient care is available at either
hospital or, if you prefer, at the Surgery Center of Volusia (SCV),
next door to Gastrointestinal Associates.
Although GIA physicians are in a
group practice, you will see the same physician each time. This
helps to maintain a secure physician/patient relationship and
continuity of care.
GIA physicians are consultants in
the specialized field of gastroenterology. You should also have a
"primary care" doctor such as an internist or family practice
physician. If you don't have a family physician already, we will
be glad to help you find one.
